Spirit of Life: 150 Years of Words, Music & Dance will return to the Janet Kinghorn Bernhard Theater at Skidmore College as part of the Saratoga Artsfest. Choreographer Mary Harney, and composer Elizabeth Woodbury Kasius, have joined forces to present an hour long work, performed live by world jazz ensemble Heard, and Skidmore dance and theater students. A lush, evocative score inspired by Saratoga Springs sets the stage for inventive, imaginative movement, presented within the historical framework of the huge contribution this small city has made to the arts.
