The scholarship is awarded on its potential to fulfill the applicants’ desires to participate in a dance experience, program, or workshop that will enrich their lives. Funds are restricted to “underserved individuals or individuals with a disability who reside in Albany or Schenectady County.”
How to Apply for Scholarship
Eligibility – Applicants must be 13+ years old and meet both Criteria “underserved or disabled individuals” who “reside in Albany or Schenectady County.”
- Complete the online application form and submit.
- Ask one of the following: dance teacher, coach, counselor, respite worker, mentor, or employer to write a recommendation for you. Please have them submit the letter through the online scholarship reference letter form.
The recipient is required to submit follow-up perspective and photo about the dance experience no later than 90 days after disbursement of the scholarship funds for posting to the website.
