The National Museum of Dance is excited to announce its first annual Move & Groove 5k on June 8th at 10am. Beginning and ending at the National Museum of Dance, this isn’t your typical 3.1-mile run! Along the beautiful course throughout the Spa State Park, there will be (optional) dance stops where participants can learn some new moves from School of the Arts instructors! A Kid’s Fun Run, for younger athletes, will immediately follow the 5k run on the lawn of the National Museum of Dance, offering awards to all participants!
After the race, join us for our Open House and Family Day. Visit with friends, family and fellow runners while enjoying a complimentary picnic! The Dance Museum will be open throughout the afternoon for all to enjoy! Check out our new exhibits: Dance Theatre of Harlem, Tradition in Movement – Dance Culture of Guatemala and Tiaras & Tutus.
Be sure to register for the Move and Groove 5k today by visiting https://www.zippyreg.com/
We look forward to running and dancing to the finish with you!
Proceeds from the race will benefit the National Museum of Dance children’s programming.
