Kicking off the new year, Union College will play host to Doug Varone and Dancers with a free performance of “Stripped” on Friday, January 29 at 7pm in the college’s Yulman Theater. An intimate, informal look at the award-winning choreographer’s creative process, the program will feature the full company in excerpts and complete dances from its repertory. Varone’s articulate, insightful dissection of his work demystifies the art form. Prior to the performance, Varone and company members will conduct outreach with students from Union, Skidmore and Schenectady High School.
