2026 Casting Information
New York City Ballet will select 24 girls for casting this summer, in addition to naming understudies. Eligible dancers must be between 9 and 13 years old, have at least three years of formal ballet training, and be no taller than 5 feet at the time of the audition. The full-length ballet will be performed during NYCB’s 2026 summer residency at Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

Audition Day Schedule
Children should be dropped off between 9:00 and 9:45 AM for registration. Auditions will begin at 10:00 AM. Due to limited parking, adults may not park in the lot during drop‑off. Adults will receive a phone call when children are dismissed and ready for pick‑up.
