the magic of the holidays comes alive with the Adirondack Ballet Theater’s 22nd annual presentation of Tchaikovsky’s timeless holiday classic, “The Nutcracker” at the Charles R. Wood Theater. The Adirondack Ballet Theater, having the distinction of being the first dance company to perform at The Wood Theater, is proud to be their resident dance company. This year’s performance will celebrate ten years working together with the Charles Wood Theater in bringing the performing arts to the downtown Glens Falls region. Adirondack Ballet Theater present this typically sold out holiday favorite with student members ranging from ages 5 to 18, guest artists and alumni on stage. This event is made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Program and Warren County, administered locally by the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council.
