The Dance Lab Saratoga is hosting professional choreographer Marissa Powers at the studio on October 5th from 11:30-12:30 for ages 12-18 and from 12:30-1:30 for ages 18+. Powers is a New York City-based choreographer and dance educator. Known online as @marissapowers on Instagram and TikTok, Marissa has built a community of over 100,000 dance enthusiasts by sharing her journey as an artist in NYC. Her choreography is sought after both nationally and internationally, leading her to teach at conventions, host workshops, and set original works across more than 18 states and the United Kingdom. Marissa is known for her contemporary choreography, where she prioritizes storytelling and emotional connection to create meaningful, authentic movements.
