DANCING THROUGH TIME: CONNECTIONS THROUGH CHOREOGRAPHY

BALLET IN AMERICA SERIES 

This 8-week program of the Dance Alliance beginning September 16, is a community collaboration with the SPAC School of the Arts on Tuesdays 12:45-2:00pm at SOTA. Each class will begin with a 15-minute biographical video about the featured artist of the day. The videos were created by docent Mary Anne Fantauzzi and videographer Lydia Huibretse with artifacts, photos, video clips, and/or costumes included. These will be followed by a 55-60-minute exploratory class that includes classical ballet technique and movement patterns in the center inspired by each artist’s style. NO EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE.
