DANCE RETURNS TO THE EGG & UNION COLLEGE
On October 17th, Compagnie Hervé Koubi will perform at 7pm at The Egg. Dance Alliance has set aside 30 tickets at discounted group prices. Dance Alliance member tickets are $25 and non-members $30. Checks should be made payable to DANCE ALLIANCE, mailed with contact information included to Mary Anne Fantauzzi, 15 Red Coach Trail, Ballston Spa, NY 12020. Include the number of member and non-member tickets requested. No refunds will be given and carpooling is encouraged. The deadline is September 15th. Please include a self addressed stamped envelope.
Led by the imaginative French Algerian choreographer, Compagnie Hervé Koubi performs the mesmerizingly kinetic “Sol Invictus.” Named after the “invincible sun” deity of Ancient Rome, the work is a gravity-defying fusion of contemporary movement, capoeira, and urban dance that transforms the stage into a playground for possibilities. It upholds love as the guarantor of peace, asserting that despite fracture, communion remains humanity’s saving grace.
