Project Partnership Funding

The Dance Alliance provides support to local dance organizations and members to assist in the implementation of projects that increase dance literacy in New York’s Capital region and encourage activities that bring dance to the community at large.

This program began in 2014 and the Dance Alliance has provided support for a variety of projects.

Grant Guidelines:

  • Applicants (organizations or individuals) must be members of the Dance Alliance.

  • Projects should include participation of multiple project partners and provide activities that bring qualitative dance opportunity to the public.

  • Applicants can apply for up to $750 in financial support.

  • Project support is to target artist fees, admission for under served audiences, space and any other relevant costs that support the success of the proposed project. Application deadlines are January 31st and July 1st. Applicants will be notified within a maximum of eight weeks from the date of submission.

  • The project must take place within two years of the the award and be held in the greater Capital/Saratoga/Fulton County Region.

  • A final written report is required within two months of the project completion date. We’d also welcome an oral presentation at the Dance Alliance Annual Meeting.
